Ubuntu 9.10

Have any of you guys tried the new Ubunutu. I have been playing with it in VM Ware. However, our Satellite Internet connection is not as fast as I would like.
I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and comments on 9.10. I think that the online backup is a really neat addition. What do you guys think?

Google Groups

I just got denied membership to the mailinglist because I don't have a mobile phone, and google wanted to verify that I was a human by collecting my mobile phone number! Presumably they would send a text message to it.

Is is a requirement of KULUA that members have mobile phones?

Using Lilypond: First time trying to 'compose' music

I play an alto saxophone for eighth-grade band. I'm trying to compose something for a contest, and no-one is allowed to help me with anything. But, I've attached the midi file and the Lilypond file of the music. This version sounds broken -- it is makes no sense.
